These were my first attempt at acting like a wood carver and I can honestly say...carving takes time. I made six leaves on the front and scroll work on each side. The African ebony mouldings that I made provide a nice dark contrast atop these corbels. You can also see the ebony at the bottom of each column in the other pictures.
